“Sadly, Her Messages Is Not Getting Out to Our College and University Students”

(Below is John Overington’s comment about my speech at the “Stop Socialism Choose Freedom” rally at Washington DC on Sep 19, 2019.)

Jennifer spoke on the brutality of the Chinese Communist Government, including those detained dissents held so that, if needed, their body parts can be sold or given to others (Reminds me of the movie, “The Island”).

She described the torture and abuse and death that occurs for those not following the party line.

Sadly, her message of what it is like to live in socialist and communist countries is not getting out to our college and universities students or by Hollywood and mainstream media elite.

‘My Organs Were Nearly Harvested In A Chinese Labour Camp But People Still Deny It’s Happening’

Jennifer Zeng gave a witness testimony at a tribunal to end forced organ harvesting in China. Here, she spoke to Georgia Aspinall about her experience of being persecuted for her beliefs.

BY GEORGIA ASPINALL

‘I was arrested four times,’ Jennifer Zeng, from Sichuan, China tells me over the phone from her home in America, where she has lived since 2011. ‘The last time, they sent me to a labour camp for one year.’

52 year-old Zeng is one of millions of people who have been detained in prison camps across China, the most recent figure estimating over 1.5 million at present. Why? Because their beliefs don’t align with the Chinese government. And now, an international tribunal has found that prisoners of those camps are being used to supply the $1billion organ trade in China.

In fact, they have been for 20 years. The tribunal judgement has far-reaching implications for countries that share information, research and trade with China – including the UK. Yet, the international reaction has been strangely silent on the issue for decades.

There have been sporadic news reports in the UK on the outcome of the tribunal of course, but the issue largely remains out of the public discourse. Tribunal chairman, Sir Geoffrey Nice QC, even criticised the British government in his final judgement for failing to act in efforts to avoid ‘an inconvenient truth’. That truth would be stories just like Zeng’s.

If the media doesn’t pick it up, the people don’t know about it

‘I was arrested while asleep at home in the middle of the night,’ Zeng says. ‘The police had intercepted a letter I wrote to my parents-in-law that explained why I wanted to continue to practice Falun Gong after the government banned it.’

Chinese Activist: ‘I am Starting to Feel’ That Socialism ‘Has Followed Me’ to the U.S.

By Kharen Martinez Murcia | September 23, 2019 | 4:35 PM EDT

(CNSNews.com) – At the Capitol Hill Tea Party rally against socialism, activist and author Jennifer Zeng, who migrated from Communist China, urged Americans to steer clear of socialist rhetoric because “socialists promise Heaven on Earth but they always end up giving you a one-way ticket to Hell.”

Another migrant at the Sept. 19 “Choose Freedom” rally, Oskar Arreaza from Venezuela, said he hopes to “spread the word” that “21st century socialism only covers [hides] the ignorance” of the politicians around the world that advocate for it.

Zeng, the author of Witnessing History: One Chinese Woman’s Fight for Freedom and Falun Gong,  said that when she came to the United States she was running away from persecution of her religious beliefs.

At Fragrant Mountain

English translation by Jennifer Zeng

Faraway mountains

Half-curtained by light mist

With layers upon layers of green hills

All dressed up in autumn colors.

They might have prayed

that those gorgeous leaves

can offer extra charms

Whilst you stand out alone

Triumphantly shining

With stunning natural beauty.
