“Little Bear’s Birthday Party”

(Jennifer’s note: This is a Children’s picture book in Mainland China, designed to help the parents to train their child’s memory and ability to observe details. Apparently, from the “plot” of this story, one can see that the CCP doesn’t think there is a problem to kill one of the bear’s friends as long as the kids who read this book are smart enough to figure out who has been killed. It’s deep in the CCP culture. Killing is not a problem at all if one is smart. Nor does the CCP think the parents will have any problems using this kind of picture books to train their kid.)

The Chinese characters on p1 are:

“Little Bear’s Birthday Party

“Today is the bear’s birthday, many friends come for the birthday party.

“Tip for the parents: Ask your kid to spell out which friends have come. Using his/her eyes and mouth together can strengthen his/her memory. “

The Chinese characters on p2 are:

“However, when it’s time for the cake, the bear finds one friend is missing. Can you find who is missing?

“Tip for the parents: Try to ask your child to remember which friends were on page one without letting him/her look at that page. Ask him/her to repeat which friends the bear has.”
