In the first part of this show, we talked about many important events happening on Nov. 25, which is called a turning point by many. Today, let’s continue our discussion.

President Trump Grants a Full Pardon to General Michael Flynn

One day before Thanksgiving, also on Nov. 25, President Trump announced that “It is my Great Honor to announce that General Michael T. Flynn has been granted a Full Pardon. Congratulations to @GenFlynn and his wonderful family, I know you will now have a truly fantastic Thanksgiving!”  

General Flynn published a personal statement on Thanksgiving Day, and said that “Never again should any family or individual be so viciously targeted, maligned, smeared, and threatened such has been the experience of my family and I.” 

He also said, very movingly, that “Time does not always heal all wounds, but discovering the truth has a funny way of shaping the scars.

“To all Americans, what we choose to do in this life should never be stopped by fear. Instead, we need to embrace the uncertainty and accept the risk that comes with sacrifice and then work to overcome the sheer magnitude of life’s challenges, especially during this crucible of our nation’s history. Our very survival as a nation is at stake.”

4 Years of Continuous Attacks 

Why do I choose to talk about this issue? You may or may not know that General Flynn was chosen by President Trump to be his National Security Advisor back in 2017, but only survived in this position for 22 days. He was then charged with “lying to the FBI” during investigations about “Russian Collusion”. 

But what are the real stories behind all these? 

Like some media said, a coup against President Trump even began before his inauguration, and as soon as he took office on Jan 20. 2017, as reported by Washington Post, “The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun”. 

So, to put it simply and short, General Flynn was a victim of the “Russian Hoax” fabricated in an attemp to take down President Trump. America spent 40 million taxpayers’ dollars to investigate the so-called “Russian Collusion”, only to find that there was no such “collusion” at all.

And then, it was the impeachment because of a phone call Trump made to the president of Ukraine.

You know what? In January this year, I was still the producer and assignment editor of the midday news program of NTD. Every morning I needed to select events to cover and then assign them to different reporters or writers.

At that time, the COVID19, or the CCP Virus pandemic had already started to spread in China, and the CCP was trying everything it could to cover up it. Outside of China, not many media outlets, or very few media outlets were covering it either. 

I knew this pandemic would be very big, and I knew this would affect many, many people in the entire world. Every day I wanted to do as many pieces about this pandemic as possible to give warnings to the world.

However, almost every day, or every other day, there was an impeachment hearing in the US congress, and all the media were covering it as the most important news of the day. As a media outlet based in the US, if we chose not to cover it at all, people might think that we were strange.

So, every time when there was an impeachment hearing, I tried to arrange coverage of it, while knowing very well in my heart that all the impeachment hoax was nonsense. In the meantime,  because all our attention was given to this impeachment nonsense, the real important issue, the pandemic was ignored or gravely under covered.

So, most of the time, I had to use my personal account to tweet as much information about the virus as possible. If you look for my tweets back in January, you’ll know what I am talking about. My heart really pained me then when seeing that all the media’s attention, the nation, as well as the politicians, were fixated on the impeachment hoax when we could have prepared ourselves much better and earlier for this deadly virus.

My point here is, for all the 4 years, Trump had to fight against the enormous, invisible dark forces while managing to fulfill his election promises to the American people. He achieved a lot under such enormous pressure and attacks. 

Why do I choose to start talking about American politics now, something I didn’t do before? Because the lamestream media are not covering the important issues, and I have to do it myself.

 What Lies Behind Xi Jinping’s Late Congratulations to Biden

Now, let’s move to China. After many days’ silence, the CCP’s head Xi Jinping finally sent a formal congratulation to Biden on Nov. 25. Xi Jinping said he hopes “both sides will adhere to the spirit of non-confrontation, mutual respect, and win-win cooperation, focus on cooperation, manage differences, promote the healthy and stable development of the U.S.-China relations,” etc. Chinese dissident Tang Baiqiao said it sounded more like an order from Xi Jinping to Biden. 

Why did Xi Jinping choose to congratulate Biden at such a time? There could be three reasons.

Reason 1. Misjudgment of the situation, again.

According to Chinese commentator Tang Qing, after Emily Murphy, head of the General Services Administration of US, wrote a letter to Biden on Nov. 23, to say that “I..am transmitting this letter today to make those resources and services available to you”. 

According to the US Presidential Transition Act, certain post-election resources and services “should be made available to assist in the event of a presidential transition”. So Murphy was doing this job. 

In the meantime, she also said that she made this decision on her own, “I did not receive any direction to delay my determination. I did, however, receive threats online, by phone, and by mail directed at my safety, my family, my staff, and even my pets in an effort to coerce me into making this determination prematurely.” 

She also said that there was no clear instruction or standards as to when to start to offer these kinds of resources and services when there are legal challenges and incomplete counts regarding the presidential election. So “I strongly urge Congress to consider amendments to the Act”.

She also said in the letter that GSA does not dictate the outcome of the legal disputes and recounts.

Anyway, after she sent this letter, CNN published a report titled “First on CNN: Key government agency acknowledges Biden’s win and begins formal transition”. 

The report says, “The General Services Administration has informed President-elect Joe Biden that the Trump administration is ready to begin the formal transition process, according to a letter from Administrator Emily Murphy sent Monday afternoon and obtained by CNN.”

AP then published a report entitled “US agency ascertains Biden as winner, lets transition begin.”

Many Chinese language media immediately translated these reports and said that Trump had conceded and Biden was confirmed as the winner.

I guess none of these media outlets have done their due diligence by checking what Trump had said, or what the full picture of the election was. So their reports only gave out part of the facts, or purposely selected and twisted the facts to serve their own agendas, thus heavily misleading, or even deceiving their readers. 

After tweeting that “I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same”, President Trump also tweeted that “What does GSA being allowed to preliminarily work with the Dems have to do with continuing to pursue our various cases on what will go down as the most corrupt election in American political history? We are moving full speed ahead. Will never concede to fake ballots & ‘Dominion.” 

He tweeted again on Nov 24 that “Remember, the GSA has been terrific, and Emily Murphy has done a great job, but the GSA does not determine who the next President of the United States will be.”

So, I am saying all this to show you how fake news media are creating fake news these days. And it is so easy to fall into their traps.

Anyway, Tang Qing said that Xi Jinping was also misled by these fake news reports into believing that Trump had conceded, and Biden had become the official winner. So that’s why he sent his late coming congratulations.

Reason 2: 

Another Chinese commentator Yang Wei said that Xi Jinping was doing so under tremendous internal pressure, and out of lack of self-confidence. So he was eager to make some achievements in the diplomatic sector. 

Reason 3:

There was also an unverified rumor circulated within the Chinese community that Biden was preparing to retreat and concede, as he thought that he would lose in the court. So the CCP urgently sent an official congratulation to try to cheer him up, in a  hope that Biden would be able to keep on going!

Well, which of the above 3 reasons is more close to the true situation? I will let you make your own judgement.

Hello, everyone, welcome to “Inconvenient Truths”. I am your host Jennifer Zeng.

Today I will first of all give you some updates of issues that I believe are most important. In the meantime, I will talk about how I look at these issues. And finally, I will talk about why, after being silent for many days,  Xi Jinping suddenly extended his late, but “warm” “congratulations ” to Joe Biden as the “President-elect”.  And because there is too much talk, so I will break up this show into two parts, and play the first part today, and the second tomorrow. 

First, let’s do some news updates. Many of the events I am going to talk about happened on the same day, Nov. 25, which is now regarded by many as a turning point in this most important US election. 

Pennsylvania State Legislature Holds A Public Hearing on Election Irregularities

Pennsylvania State Legislature held a public Hearing on election irregularities on Nov. 25.  The hearing lasted for three and a half hours, and large amounts of evidence and witness testimonies were presented. 

For example, one witness said instead of seeing a smooth curve going up on Election night, like what we see under normal circumstances,  Pennsylvania gets huge spikes in the voting pattern that netted 570,000 votes for Biden and just 3200 for Trump, which means, Biden gets 99.5% of those votes.  When he said that Trump only got 3200 votes, people in the hearing laughed out loudly. 

Please note that Biden’s margin of victory over Trump in Pennsylvania is under 81,000 votes.

There were many other irregularities, such as there were only 1.8 million absentee ballots mailed out, but 2.5 million were counted. The difference is 700, 000. 

One witness said that he saw one person walking in with baggies of USBs and uploaded them to the voting machines. The witness saw that happen over 25 times. He also said that as of now,  47 USB cards are “missing” and nowhere to be found; etc. 

One elderly lady complained that after she voted on the machine, the machine printed out her ballot, but Trump’s name was not on it. 

“I voted for Trump, and it wasn’t there,” she said. 

 Chinese commentator Jason said in NTDTV’s Focus Talk program that this lady’s experience was very important to know, as it could be connected to a systemic fraud scheme. According to a study by Georgia Institute of Technology, only 50% of voters will give a casual glimpse at their ballots after they are printed out by the machine,  half of the voters don’t check at all. And out of the people who do check, only less than 5 or 10 percent can find that there are problems when problems do exist. Most people just scan them without checking or finding out that there are mistakes.

So, if someone writes a program to change 5% or 10% of the voting results, the chance of the changed votes being caught or found out will be only less than 0.2 or 0.3%. 

So, using this method, you can change 5% of the voting result, and the chance of being caught is very, very low.

Pennsylvania Judge Halts Further Vote Certification; Gov. Wolf Appeals

Also on Nov. 25, a Pennsylvania appeals court judge ordered state officials to halt any further steps toward certifying election results, a day after Gov. Tom Wolf said he had certified Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election in Pennsylvania. Wolf quickly asked the state Supreme Court to block the ruling from taking effect, saying there was no “conceivable justification” for it.

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals Grants Expedited Review Over Lin Wood’s Election Lawsuit in Georgia

Now, let’s move to Georgia. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals granted Lin Wood’s emergency motion for expedited review of a lawsuit challenging the validity of Georgia’s election procedure. By the way, Lin Wood is an American attorney based in Georgia, who supports Trump but is fighting in his own capacity. 

Nevada Court Win Lets Trump Present Ballot Evidence

Now, some development in another battleground.  A Nevada judge has agreed to let the Trump campaign present its evidence of voter fraud in a Dec. 3rd hearing. The campaign plans to present its evidence that could result in the rejection of tens of thousands of mail-in ballots in Clark County, where Biden ballots outnumbered Trump ballots by 91,000 in unofficial results.

A Washington Examiner report called this a “huge court win”. 

Sidney Powell Files Lawsuit in Georgia and Michigan Alleging ‘Massive Election Fraud’

Now, let’s talk about Sidney Powell’s “biblical lawsuits”. Sidney Powell is a former federal prosecutor, who is also fighting in her own capacity, and “on behalf of ‘we the people’”. 

In late-night of Nov. 25, she filed a 104-page complaint in Georgia, and a 75 page one in Michigan, alleging “massive election fraud” and multiple violations of the Constitution.

The Georgia suit was filed against Gov. Brian Kemp, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and other election officials, seeking to compel the court to invalidate the election results in Georgia.

The complaint argues that “at least 96,600 absentee ballots were requested and counted but were never recorded as being returned to county election boards by the voter. Thus, at a minimum, 96,600 votes must be disregarded.”

The complaint also says that “the Dominion software was accessed by agents acting on behalf of China and Iran in order to monitor and manipulate elections, including the most recent US general election in 2020. ”

The lawsuit in Michigan also seeks to set aside the results of the election in Michigan, claiming that “hundreds of thousands of illegal, ineligible, duplicate, or purely fictitious ballots” enabled by “massive election fraud” helped make possible Biden’s vote count lead in the state. The suit also pointed to multiple issues pertaining to Dominion Voting Systems.

Sidney Powell has set up a website called “Defending the Republic”, and the above mentioned two complaints can be found on her website. 

An interesting development of this affair is, before the courts hear the cases or make any judgments, Twitter already made a decision to ban her website. So you cannot share the two legal files on Twitter.

11/25，鮑威爾、林伍德等幾位律師，向喬治亞州、密歇根州提交了 #選舉舞弊 的民事訴訟。鮑威爾律師在自己網站上公布了喬治亞州的起訴書（在最後），要求法官宣布已認證的選舉結果無效，或者剔除有問題的缺席選票後再統計結果，或者乾脆宣布川普勝出。

時間緊迫、工作量巨大，104頁的訴狀有多處打字拼寫錯誤。不出所料，#下流霉體 繼續以報導花邊消息的精神嘲笑文字錯誤，卻對大量舞弊的指控置若罔聞——要自甘墮落，誰也攔不住。書歸正傳，以下是要點。

舞弊主要領域：

1、缺席選票（absentee ballot，以郵寄選票為主）

2、Dominion/Smartmatic選舉系統

3、重新計票的不合規

舞弊主要方式：

灌票（ballot-stuffing），效果被基於電腦軟件的計票方式放大數倍，並掩蓋了舞弊行為，但多名數學專家的證詞表明，現在的計票結果在數學和統計學上的反常達到了幾乎不可能的地步。推斷可能被灌了數萬張選票（給拜登）。

Dominion/Smartmatic選舉系統舞弊

美國軍情305局的前電子情報專家指出，中國和伊朗的代理人能夠進入dominion投票機的軟件，監控和操縱選舉，包括這次2020年大選。dominion不僅沒有重視，反而有意給軟件留出後門，以便實時修改數據。

知情者證詞：委內瑞拉前獨裁者查韋斯要求smartmatic發明一款修改/刪除/增加選票不留痕跡的軟件，以便舞弊不被發現。

Smartmatic前任執行長Anthony Mugica的堂兄弟作證，Mugica幫助查韋斯贏得2004年公投，並在2003–2015年間，因為在全世界推廣他的軟件，而從委內瑞拉政府獲得幾千萬報酬。

Dominion機器的設計特點是：讀取選票的原始數據不被保護，也即：只要有人進入這個系統就可以增加、修改、刪除選票，因此普通的審計無法查出舞弊，因為原始數據很可能已經被竄改。

普林斯頓大學計算機科學教授、選舉安全專家Dr. Andrew Appel 說，「只需要7分鐘和一個螺絲刀，就能駭入這種投票機修改選票的統計數據。」

一位軟件和網路安全專家評估，Dominion機器可以不讀取做了特定記號的選票。（有看到票站工作人員在選票上塗塗寫寫的錄像）

一台機器最終的計票結果，被工作人員從機器copy&paste到USB，這個過程本身就可能失誤（不是已經報導在不同州有好幾起川普的票被「錯誤」算給拜登了嗎），或被駭客惡意侵入修改。這次喬州重新手動計票時發現，有3300張存在記憶卡上的選票根本沒有錄入，floyd縣有2600張沒被機器讀取的缺席選票，這些選票錄入後，拜登的領先優勢減小。

專家Navid Keshavarez-Nia 解釋，美國情報機構有工具能侵入外國選舉系統，包括dominion。他的結論是，這次選舉，有幾十萬張投給川普的票被置換給拜登。

「缺席選票」大做文章

不驗證簽名，缺席選票發放大放水：

全州因簽名對不上而被拒發選票的比例是0.15%（即：1萬人申請選票，15人被拒），但其中缺席選票申請者被拒發選票的比例卻只有0.00167%（相當於全體登記選民申請，只有幾人被拒）。

上百萬人口的Fulton縣（被指舞弊最嚴重），缺席選票申請被拒的數量，竟然比8000多人口的Hancock縣還少。

9萬6千張被計算的缺席選票，在喬州政府網站上只有選民申請紀錄，沒有郵寄返回的紀錄；

約31,559 – 38,886張共和黨選民的郵寄選票沒有被計算（數學專家根據川普團隊選後對共和黨選民的電話調查的分析）；

20,311張缺席選票或提前投票是已經不在喬州居住的人投的票，這違反喬州選舉法規定；

很多投票日去投票站取消過去的郵寄選票想改成現場投票的選民，以及從沒收到過郵寄選票，卻被票站工作人員告知已經投了郵寄選票的選民，這兩類人很多都沒有被允許現場投票。

各種違規操作

不核對簽名、不查看信封等，大量放行不合格選票。

缺席選票在選舉日三週前就被打開計票——州政府單方面修改選舉操作，違反州法律。

多名證人指證，重新手動計票仍缺乏有效的監督。

多名證人指證，重新手動計票時，看見川普的得票被放進拜登的得票當中。

fulton縣的計票中心，11月3號當晚10點左右，選務工作人員謊稱漏水，將所有投票站的工作人員和監票員全部清理出投票站直到凌晨1點，這其中3小時，只有幾名選務工作人員在投票站內，完全不受監督。（起訴書要求法院調出當天這個計票中心所有房間36小時的監控錄像，以便調查）

明顯的造假

1、有監票員作證，看見假選票，紙張不同，選票上選候選人的塗抹方式一模一樣，就像機器填寫的。

2、有的一拓選票100%投拜登。

3、有的選票從「未投票」的托盤裡被轉到投拜登的選票托盤裡。

州政府的違法違規

2019年，州長漠視安全專家對Dominion投票系統的批評，斥資1億5千萬購買Dominion，對系統的測試報告沒有日期，被民主黨人稱為「最糟糕的腐敗」。

州務卿連同民主黨，未經州議會批准，擅自修改本州投票的規程，包括處理缺席選票的方式，違反憲法有關選舉及選舉人的相關條款。

結語

目前，拜登在喬州領先川普12670票。這份訴狀根據憲法和喬州的法律，認為，有問題的選票數量遠遠大過兩人得票差距，足以影響選舉結果，因此應推翻認證。

Today I will talk about two issues: how and why I feel that the situation of free speech in the US could be worse than in Communist China, how and when I gained my first impression and made my first judgement on Donald Trump, and why I choose to speak out now.

I Am Practicing Self-Censorship in the US Now

Several days ago, an investigative reporter from the Epoch Times interviewed me about the censorship I experienced on social media platforms, and after replying to her questions via email, I suddenly realized that I am practicing self-censorship in the US now, and this is something that I didn’t even do in the CCP’s labor camp! Can you believe that? I could hardly believe it myself. 

But does this mean that the situation of free speech in the US is worse than in Communist China? I will tell you what I experienced, and I will let you draw your own conclusion. 

So, here are my real stories: 

I set up a Facebook page called Jennifer Zeng’s blog there years ago. I worked very hard on it, and accumulated over 284K followers. However, on August 2, an account called “Fb portal” suddenly “claimed ownership of the Page”, then, on August 7, this account changed myself and all other 4 editors to an “analyst”. After that, none of us, including myself can post anything on this page, and it thus became dead for me.  I complained many, many times, but Facebook never responded.

So I was forced to set up another page called “Inconvenient Truths by Jennifer Zeng” , and so far have only about 2000 followers. By the way, if you are on Facebook, please follow me there.

So, this is the situation with Facebook. When someone was trying to share my article about the censorship I experienced, Facebook didn’t allow her to share. 

As for my Twitter account, I had over 156,000 followers about two months ago, but the number keeps dropping ever since, and I’ve been losing 100-1000 followers every day. Many people told me they got unfollowed without their knowledge. Some say they can’t see what I post even though they are following me.

My experience with YouTube is not much better.  Early this year, during the peak of the COVID 19 pandemic, my entire channel was once demonetized. Although YouTube reversed this decision later on, thanks to a lot of media exposure, almost all my videos were given a yellow flag, which means “limited for ads”.  I felt very pained about this as YouTube, as well as Facebook and Twitter, suppressed the true information about the pandemic at a very critical time when it was still possible to stop or slow it. They did so because WHO asked them to do so on behalf of the CCP.

Now, although I am not given yellow flags,  I am still being suppressed, and my subscriptions are dropping. People told me that they got unsubscribed, or they are not receiving notifications. They had to search hard to find my programs.

Also, since I started talking about the US election, the views suddenly dropped sharply. I seriously don’t doubt these videos are being suppressed. Some viewers told me they even couldn’t like my videos, nor could they share them on Facebook.

And, after seeing that many of my friend’s accounts, or accounts that I know of, had been suspended or deleted by Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, I started practicing self-censorship for fear of being censored. For example, in a recent show about the US election, I dared not use the phrase “voter fraud”, but only vaguely said “problems in the voting system”, etc. I was afraid that the phrase “voter fraud” would be caught by YouTube’s AI system, so I had been avoiding that phrase throughout the entire show. And I am still doing it now.

Then I realized that I didn’t even do this in CCP’s China. 

In 1999,  when the CCP launched an all-out suppression of Falun Gong, I still had the courage to write letters to the CCP leaders with my real name and address. In 2000, I planned to go to Tiananmen Square to display a Falun Gong banner (I ended up not going because I was arrested beforehand). At that time, I was willing to risk my life to defend what I believed to be the truth. 

After I was arrested for the 4th time, I was sent to Beijing Female Labor Camp, which is as evil as a devil’s den. When the vicious police asked me to criticize Falun Gong, I always wrote about how wonderful Falun Gong is, and how it only benefits the nation and the people in an open and upright manner. I didn’t have fear then, as I didn’t care what they would do to me. I was already in a bad enough situation, so I didn’t care.

I never imagined that after 20 years, when I am in the United States, where freedom of speech is supposed to be ensured, I am actually practicing self-censorship-something I even did not do in the CCP’s labor camp. While I had no fear in the labor camp, I do have fear now: I was afraid if my accounts get deleted or suppressed, I will lose the channels I have to spread the truth. Although there are alternative platforms, accumulating followers needs  a lot of time and effort. I don’t want to lose my current accounts, which I have worked very hard to develop.

This is the reality of America now. Isn’t it sad?

【Video of the Day】”We Make It Impossible for the US to Survive”

Next, let’s move to our second topic. But before that, let’s watch a one-minute video first:

I am not sure what your thoughts are after watching this video. For me, the first words that came to my mind were: “So evil!” 

It was so evil, because he laughed over people’s deaths. 4000 Chinese people’s deaths were nothing in his eyes as the virus has killed far more Americans. 

It was so evil, as he believed that the virus is “in the best interest of North Korea and China”, and is “in the worst interest of Europe and America”. And he laughed and was so happy about the fact that China’s economy was the only one in the entire world doing well because of the virus, and that China can catch up with the US ahead of time, and that “we are making it impossible for the US to survive”, or “we are pushing the US out of existence”.

Can America Withstand the CCP if Biden Wins?

However, the purpose of me showing everyone this video here is not to discuss how evil a CCP’s scholar can be, but to illustrate an idea of how ill the US system already is.

After translating this video, I did some research about the person who made such an evil speech publicly. I was shocked to find that he actually gained his M. A and Ph. D degrees in the US, and is a permanent US resident who lives in the Greater New York area!

And let me tell you that he is not the only one. There are a lot of people from CCP’s China like him, who claim that “to be anti-America is only my job, to stay in America is my life”, or “my choice of way of living”.

So, there are a lot of people like him, who get paid to do or speak about things that damage the US, but are still allowed to stay in the US and enjoy all the great things that the US has to offer.

And, what makes me more uneasy is, although this US election is far from over, Trump’s legal team is still pursuing lawsuits regarding the integrity of the election, the lamestream media have already started to create an impression that the US-China relations will be improved and back to “normal” after Biden takes power.

Like I said in my last show, although the CCP has been purposely keeping a very low-profile position regarding the US election results, the CCP’s overseas mouthpiece Global Times couldn’t wait any longer to jump out to say that “New US officials could bring back rational approach to relations with China”.

“Rational approach”, in the CCP’s eyes, is to continue the “engaging China” policy of Obama and other presidents before him, to allow the CCP to take endless advantage of the US and the world.

How could the politicians who pursued the “engaging China” policy be so stupid as to allow the CCP to do so much damage to western society? Why should we leave our doors wide open to people like this evil professor of the CCP? I really don’t understand why we hadn’t done anything about this before the Trump administration started to talk about banning CCP members from migrating to the US.

What worries me, and many other Chinese Americans is, if Biden really wins, can America still have the ability to withstand the CCP?

My First Impression and Judgment On Donald Trump

I came to the US in 2011. In 2015, when Donald Trump first came out and announced that he would run for president, I found I knew very little, or virtually nothing about him. However, from the reactions of people around me, as well as from the media, I gained a vague impression that he was just a playboy from the entertainment industry,  he just wanted to have some fun, or gain some more fame, he didn’t really want to be the president, and that nobody would take him seriously. So I didn’t pay much attention to him either. 

Then, in April 2016, he came to Los Angeles to do a rally, and made a roughly 40-minute speech. So far, at that stage, I only heard about people’s comments and reports about him, plus some 10-second soundbites of him in some of the news reports, but I never heard directly from himself. On that day, there had been hours of live streaming of the protests against him outside his rally, but no reports about what he actually said. 

So I watched his speech online. That was the first time I heard him talking directly. I watched 12 minutes of his speech, then I shut it down. 

I shut it down, not because I didn’t want to listen anymore, but because I felt I didn’t need to listen more to know who he was, and what he stood for. And you know what? I found myself agreeing to every sentence he said in that 12 minutes.

I remember his main points were: 1. America first, 2. We need to build a wall.

For me, these were just common sense, and so correct. Why couldn’t an American presidential candidate put America’s interests first? Why, as a sovereign nation, can’t America build a wall to defend its sovereignty, just like every family would put a lock on its door, right?

From then on, I really didn’t understand why the media and so many people were so mad about Trump. Sure, he did say that a lot of bad people had come to the US through illegal channels, but he never said that immigrants, or Mexicans, were rapists. The media just distorted his speech as much as they liked so that they could label him as a “racist”, or “fascist”, or any other bad names.

I see with my own eyes how far this political correctness has gone; and now, with the battle surrounding this most critical election, this political correctness is developing into something more crazy, more corrupt, and even criminal. 

Actually, these thoughts have been hovering around in my mind for quite some time. Perhaps it is a very bad time to say them out loud now, as so many people believe that there is no way that Trump can win this election, and there are quite a few people who supported Trump before backing off from their previous positions.

But, I am not one of them. I do things based on what I believe to be right, not based on calculations about who is going to win, and who is going to lose. In some sense, I have gotten accustomed to going against the tide, as that’s what I have been doing in the past 21 years, when the CCP uses all its forces to crack down on innocent, harmless, and powerless people like me.

And, I still have faith and hope in my heart. At the darkest moment, I still believe that truth and justice will prevail.

Hello, everyone, welcome to “Inconvenient Truths”. I am your host Jennifer Zeng.

Today I will talk about the CCP’s 2-way bet on the US election: why didn’t the CCP congratulate Biden immediately after the media announced that he was the winner, how did the CCP do their calculations, who the CCP really supports, and why Chinese Americans are so passionate about this election. So make sure you stick around till the end.

CCP Absent From the Party

While leaders from many countries including Canada, Germany, France, and Taiwan sent their congratulations to Biden shortly after he announced victory on Nov. 7, the CCP was notably absent from the party. 

Two days later, on Nov. 9, the CCP’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin responded to a question about the US election at his routine press conference by saying that “We note that Biden has announced that he was elected”. Then he added that “we understand that the results of the election will be determined in accordance with the laws and procedures of the United States.” When being asked when China would congratulate Biden, Wang replied, “China will follow international conventions to deal with this.” 

In the meantime, the CCP’s mouthpiece Xinhua only published a three-line report.

Did you notice his wording? He said, “We note that Biden has announced that he was elected,” which means it is Biden himself who announced his “victory”. Also, when pushed by the reporter, Wang Wenbin refused to say when, or whether the CCP would congratulate Biden. Instead, he said, “China will follow international conventions to deal with this.” 

Congratulate “Mr. Biden” and “Ms. Harris”, Not “President-elect” or “Vice President-elect”

4 days later, on Nov. 13, again at the daily routine press conference, when being asked by the media, Wang Wenbin said that China has been following the domestic and international reactions to this U.S. presidential election. “We respect the choice of the American people, and we congratulate Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris. In the meantime, we understand that the results of the U.S. election will be determined in accordance with U.S. laws and procedures.”

This time Xinhua published a two-line report. 

Did you notice that Wang didn’t use the term “President-elect” or “Vice President-elect”? He used “Mr. Biden” and “Ms. Harris” when he “congratulated” them. 

What amazed me was, when the Voice of America did a report about this, they just recklessly replaced “Ms. Harris” with “[Vice President-elect Kamala] Harris”, which means, the Voice of America added something that was not there in their report. Although they put it inside a bracket, it is still not acceptable according to professional standards, as it is the reporter’s stance, or opinion, not what Wang Wenbin meant to say. On the contrary, Wang Wenbin tried very hard not to use “President-elect” or “Vice President-elect” in his reply. For me, the report of VOA is a perfect example of fake news. 

Anyway, this is a little bit off the track. Let’s go back to the CCP’s response to the US election.

After Nov 13, there have not been many updates regarding the CCP’s official stance on the US election, except a fake report from Foreign Policy saying that “Chinese President Xi Jinping called U.S. President-elect Joe Biden last Friday, nearly a week after he was declared winner of the Nov. 3 election”.  There are no other media, English or Chinese, reporting about this, so I guess it is a fake report. Nowadays you really can’t trust those so-called mainstream media, or organizations anymore. When you read their reports, you really need to be careful and very critical. 

The Contrast Between Now and 2016

So, if we compare the CCP’s response to this US election with that of 2016, we can see clearly several very obvious differences:

1. Four years ago, the CCP took the initiative to send a congratulatory message the day after Trump’s election; whilst this time, 6 days after Biden claimed victory, the CCP only passively and reluctantly said that it “congratulated” “Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris”  when pushed by a reporter at a press conference, and then added that “In the meantime, we understand that the results of the U.S. election will be determined in accordance with U.S. laws and procedures.”

2. Four years ago, the congratulatory message was sent in the name of Xi Jinping, representing the highest level of the CCP’s recognition of the U.S. election results; this year, however, the “congratulation” was from somebody at a significantly lower level,  a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, not even the minister himself.

3. Four years ago, the CCP’s media report about the congratulatory telegram was 281 words; this year, the report was only 110 words, less than half the length of four years ago. In other words, this year’s congratulatory message is not as important as it was four years ago.

4.  In 2016, Xi Jinping sent a formal diplomatic “telegram” to congratulate Trump on his election and to express his wish for the future of U.S.-China relations; this year, the CCP’s “congratulations” was expressed verbally at a press conference, without any mentioning of visions or wishes for future relations.

5. Four years ago, Xinhua’s news title was:  “Xi Jinping Calls to Congratulate Trump on Election as President of the United States”; this year its title was “Foreign Ministry: Congratulations to Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris”.

Please note that this year the CCP only “congratulated” “Mr. Biden” and “Ms. Harris” without mentioning what was congratulated. The word “president”  does not even appear in the news title or the “congratulation”. So we can even understand it as a “congratulation” on their success in stealing the election, right?

4 Reasons Why Xi Jinping Is Yet to Congratulate Biden 

So, now, why does the CCP take such a stance? 

Here are some reasons:

Reason 1: 

Purposely creating an impression that the CCP doesn’t care much about the results of the US election, and that the CCP hasn’t got itself involved in the US election, or has in any way interfered with the US election. So, in other words, to purposely keep a distance not only with the results of the US election but also with Biden.

Why does the CCP want to create such an impression? They have many reasons.

A. Right before the election, there had been explosive reports about Hunter Biden’s “Laptop Gate”.  Evidence not only from Hunter Biden’s laptop but also from his former business partner Tony Bobulinski and other sources showed that Biden’s family gained billions of dollars’ of “investments”, as well as “dry shares” that could be worth hundreds of millions, from the CCP. If you don’t know what a “dry share” is, please go back to check my program “How Has Biden’s Stance on China Changed While His Family Businesses Developed”.  I made that program before the election. To put it simply, a dry share is a free share, free money you get for free.

The CCP knows too well that this scandal, although almost all the so-called mainstream media chose to cover it up, is still up in the air. So by choosing to keep a distance with Biden, the CCP really wants to hide this scandal. At least they don’t want to remind anybody by showing too much enthusiasm toward Biden’s self and media-claimed victory.

B. Before this year’s election, U.S. intelligence agencies had repeatedly warned that the CCP, Russia, and Iran were attempting to interfere in the election and that the CCP wanted Trump to lose so that the CCP could have a chance to end the trade war and high tariffs and turn the tide around.

In addition, before the election, large amounts of fake US driver licenses and documents from China were seized, including nearly 20,000 in Chicago, thousands at  Cincinnati /ˌsɪnsəˈnæti Port in Ohio this year, and nearly 3000 in New York last year, etc. These are only those that were found and seized. How many have already come in without being found and seized? What is the purpose of importing so many fake IDs from China? People have every reason to believe that they could be used in this election to create fake votes, especially when in some places, there were more votes cast than people. 

C. Also, there are claims that the CCP has directly interfered in the  US election. Let’s watch a 2-minute video first:

The above statement was made by Trevor Loudon, at a Webinar called “The Chinese Communist Party’s Crimes Against America…and the Rest of the Free World” hosted by Committee on the Present Danger: China, on Nov 10.

So, these are some of the reasons why the CCP wants to purposely keep a very low key profile with the US election, especially at such a sensitive time, when there are a lot of disputes and even lawsuits going on surrounding the election.

Reason 2:

The CCP was afraid that Trump would impose more sanctions on the CCP. 

It is no doubt that President Trump’s trade war and a tough stance against the CCP hurt it a lot. As recently as Nov. 12, after the election, the Trump administration just issued an executive order banning US investments in 31 Chinese companies – including telecom firms Huawei, China Telecom, and China Mobile, all very important, big, military-linked companies of the CCP. Regardless of whether Trump is re-elected or not, he still has time to impose more sanctions on the CCP. So the CCP doesn’t want to annoy Trump at such a sensitive time.

Reason 3: 

Maintaining a relatively “neutral” position in case Biden ends up not winning so that the CCP won’t be that awkward if things do go that way. The CCP’s spokesman said that “we understand that the results of the U.S. election will be determined in accordance with U.S. laws and procedures.” This means that the CCP does know the election is not over yet, so it doesn’t want to openly side with Biden too early, just in case.

Or, perhaps, exactly because that the CCP has either been involved in the cheating or knows a lot about the cheating, it knows that the results are still up in the air, so it doesn’t want to openly congratulate Biden yet.

Reason 4:

Before the election, many disgusting photos and videos of Hunter Biden doing drugs and sex were circulated on the internet. Although we do not yet know who took these photos and videos, we do know that some of them were taken in China and that the CCP must have a lot more in its hands. In this sense, plus the hundreds of millions of bribery money we mentioned before, the CCP has all kinds of leverage over the Biden family. To corrupt officials is a basic and very effective tool for the CCP to threaten and control officials to force them to do what it wants.

So, the 4th reason why the CCP did not rush to congratulate Biden in a high-profile manner is that the CCP is very confident that it can dominate future U.S.-China relations if Biden ends up in the White House, and that Biden and Harris will have to listen to the CCP. 

Also, the CCP’s delay in publicly congratulating Biden may be a deliberate attempt to raise its profile in Biden’s eyes and to remind Biden not to regard the CCP as a “little brother” and not to forget to take the CCP’s demands seriously.

To sum it up, the CCP is doing a 2-way bet on the US election to ensure that whoever wins, it won’t end up in too much of a bad and awkward situation. Although the CCP definitely wants Biden to win, it doesn’t want to show this too early, or too obviously.

“Mainstream” English Media More Eager than the CCP

What in contrast with this is, many so-called “mainstream” English language media have rushed to discuss US-China relations in a Biden era, creating a narration that “Biden’s victory over Trump can turn down the heat” of US-China relations, and US-China relations can finally go back to normal, or even better with Biden in the White House, and it’s time for the west to revisit its China narratives, etc. It seems these media are so eager to please the CCP, and more eager than the CCP to nail down the Biden victory. I really don’t understand why they should do this. For me, this is disgusting.

 The Last Battle and The Last Hope

Finally, let me talk very briefly about why the Chinese Americans are so passionate about this US election.

Many people have the impression that Chinese people are very smart and hard-working. It is indeed the case. After they migrated to the US, the majority of them just focus on studying and working hard, and giving their children a good education. In the meantime, they don’t care that much about politics, nor do they get involved in politics that much.

However, things changed drastically this time. The passion that many Chinese Americans show for this election is unprecedented. For example, the live streaming of Sound of Hope’s Chinese Language coverage of the election on Election Day got millions of views-something that never happened before. With the results pending in the air, they eagerly seek out updates every single day afterwards.

Why did they suddenly become so passionate?

Because the reason why they decided to leave China and to seek a future in the US is that they thought that the US could offer a better future for themselves and their children, and children’s children. They didn’t like how things were in the CCP’s China, so they chose the US instead.

They weren’t that much passionate about US politics before, because they felt that whichever party won, whoever got elected, the fundamentals of US society remained the same. So they didn’t need to care that much.

However, this time, things are very different. Because they come from Communist or Socialist China, they are more sensitive to Communist and Socialist things, and they feel more bitter when the US is moving toward that direction when the traditional Democratic Party is hijacked by the radical and extreme leftists. 

They don’t want to escape one Socialist country only to find themselves ending up in another socialist country. When the CCP’s China is no good, they can choose to manage to come to the US. If the US, in some sense, the last safe haven they can find on earth, is also compromised, they have nowhere to go.

So, for them, this is the last battle and last hope. That’s why they care so much.

Well, I guess for other ethnicities, the stakes and the situation are the same.

This country spent its entire existence fighting for individual freedoms, and now the nation’s political and intellectual leadership has abandoned both it and the liberal principles that formed its foundation. It is worse than sad, it is self-destructive and, if not checked soon, will spell the end of the enlightenment principles of rationality, tolerance, and systematic reasoning. These will be replaced by collective rights, consensus reasoning, intolerance, and coercion. Societies can survive with those principles, but they are suboptimal at providing prosperity and freedom for its citizens. Once the opposition is suppressed then divisions amongst groups and interests further weaken the structure and ability to form common goals and move forward.

I Am Practicing Self-Censorship in US Now, Something I Didn’t Do Even in the CCP’s Labor Camp 我在中共國勞教所時還什麼都敢說，現在在美國卻不敢

If someone says that the situation of free speech in the US is worse than in Communist China, perhaps nobody will believe it, including myself. However, after I wrote down the following statement of what I experienced in the US recently for an investigative reporter regarding social media’s censorship, I suddenly realized that I am practicing self-censorship “consciously and voluntarily” now, which I had surely not done before even in the forced labor camp in China!

如果有人說美國的言論環境，已經比不上中共國了，別說你不相信，我也不會相信的。可是，今天在給一位寫調查報告的記者寫下我自己的以下經歷時，我突然發現：我在中共國勞教所時都沒有進行過自我言論審查，現在卻在“自覺自願地”進行了……

After reading what I wrote below, I just want to say, “enough is enough!”

看完我自己寫下的這個情況，我只想說，enough is enough!

Yes, I’ve been suppressed very badly. What I experienced include:

是的，我一直也被打壓得很厲害，包括：

1. My Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/jenniferzeng97, which has 284,562 followers was suddenly taken over by an account called “Fb portal” in early August. Since then I can’t post anything and this page became dead for me. I complained many times and Facebook never responded.

1. 我經營了3年，已經積累了284,562個粉絲（follower）的臉書頁（https://www.facebook.com/jenniferzeng97），在今年8月初無端被一個叫Fb portal的帳戶接管，把我的管理權拿走了，我就再也不能發布任何東西，相當於這個頁面就廢掉了。我申訴多次臉書置之不理。

2. My Twitter account (https://twitter.com/jenniferatntd), which had 156,000+ followers about two months ago, has been suppressed ever since, and I’ve been losing 100-1000 followers every day, and now it’s down to 150,900. Some people say they got unfollowed without their knowledge. Some say they can’t see what I post even though they are following me.

2. 我的推特帳號（https://twitter.com/jenniferatntd），兩個月前還有15萬6千多粉絲，之後就遭到打壓，每天把粉絲很下減，多則一千，少則一百地減，現在已經減到15萬9千，很多人跟我反映，說並沒有unfollow我，卻發現不知何時無端被取關。還有人說，雖然在follow我，卻看不到我發的東西。

3. I’ve been suppressed by YouTube too. Early this year, during the peak of the COVID 19 pandemic, my entire channel at bit.ly/3b87DPj was once demonetized. Later on, although YouTube reversed this decision, almost all my videos were given a yellow flag, which means “limited for ads”. Now, although there are not as many yellow flags, I am still being suppressed, and my subscriptions are dropping. People told me that they got unsubscribed, or they are not receiving notifications.

3. 油管也一直打壓我，疫情期間曾經取消我整個頻道（bit.ly/3b87DPj）的广告資格，後來雖然恢復了，卻幾乎所有視頻都被黃標。現在雖然沒有那麼多黃標了，卻仍然在暗中打壓，訂閱數會往下降，有人反映被自動取消訂閱，有的按了接收通知鍵，卻收不到通知。

Since I started talking about the US election, the views suddenly dropped dramatically. I seriously doubt these videos are being suppressed. Some viewers told me they even couldn’t like my videos, nor could they share them on Facebook.

自我開始談論大選作弊問題後，觀看量明顯下降，我懷疑是人爲被打壓，有觀衆反映想給我按讚都按不了。還有人說，想在臉書轉發不讓轉。

4. I have been forced to censor myself for fear of being censored. For example, in the latest program about the US election（https://youtu.be/ju-IxkX1caw）, I dared not use “voter fraud”, but only vaguely said “problems in the voting system”, etc. I was afraid that the phrase “voter fraud” would be caught by YouTube’s AI system, so I have been avoiding “voter fraud” throughout the entire show.

4. 因擔心被審查，我已經不得不進行自我審查。如最新一期談選舉的節目（https://youtu.be/ju-IxkX1caw），我不敢說voter fraud,只敢含糊地說problems in the voting system。我擔心油管的AI審查會識別voter fraud這個詞，所以一直不敢用。

In the U.S., where freedom of speech is supposed to be guaranteed, the situation is as ridiculous as this! When the Chinese Communist Party was cracking down on Falun Gong at its strongest, I still had the courage to write letters to the CCP leaders with my real name and address, and once planned to go to Tiananmen Square to display a Falun Gong banner (I ended up not going because I was arrested beforehand). At that time, I was willing to risk my life to defend what I believed to be the truth.

在保障言論自由的美國，情況已經可笑到這種程度了。在中共最強力打壓法輪功的時候，我尚有勇氣給中共領導寫信，並曾經計劃到天安門去打橫幅（因提前被抓沒去成），當時是覺得豁出性命也要捍衛我認定的真理。

In the labor camp, which is as evil as a devil’s den, when the vicious police asked me to criticize Falun Gong, I always wrote about how wonderful Falun Gong is, and how it only benefits the nation and the people in an open and upright manner. I didn’t have fear then, as I didn’t care what they would do to me.

在勞教所那樣的黑窩中，每次警察讓寫法輪功的黑材料，我都是堂堂正正寫上法輪大法的益處，從來沒有怕過。

I never imagined that after 20 years, when I am in the United States, where freedom of speech is supposed to be ensured, I am actually practicing self-censorship-something I even did no in the CCP’s labor camp, as while I had no fear in the labor camp, I do have fear now: I was afraid if my accounts get deleted or suppressed, I will lose channels to spread the truth. Although there are alternative platforms, accumulating followers needs time. I don’t want to lose my current channels, which I have worked very hard to develop.

我真的沒有想到，我20年後在本應言論自由的美國，卻開始怕上了，說話要“含糊其詞”，不敢正大光明地說的——因爲我擔心言論被審查，或帳號被封，我更沒有傳播真相的途徑了。

This is the reality of America now. Isn’t it sad?

這就是美國的現實，不悲哀麼？

Who on earth has won this US election? I can tell all the reader responsibly and with all seriousness, that there do exist winners in the U.S. election, and they are The Epoch Times, Sound of Hope, and New Tang Dynasty TV!

這次美國大選究竟是誰贏了？目前還真的可以一語中的，我負責任地告訴讀者們，這次美國大選還真有贏家。這就是大紀元贏了，希望之聲電台贏了，新唐人電視台贏了！

These media run by Falun Gong practitioners, in their fairness and objectivity in reporting the news about the U.S. election, have earned the respect of the Chinese both inside and outside the country. I want to say here, “Falun Gong media, bravo! You are the best!”

法論功媒體在矚目這次美國大選的新聞報導中秉持正義，客觀公正地傳播真相，值得點贊，也贏得了海內外華人的敬重，我在此說一句：“法論功媒體，好樣的，你們是最棒的！”

If there are winners, there of course are losers, so let me list them. They are the Associated Press, AOL, Times Warner, Walt Disney, News Corporation, New York Times, Washington Post, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and the social media platforms of the big tech companies. Other folks like the Voice of America’s Chinese division and the BBC’s Chinese division, they’re only the underdogs. They lost. They lost so badly that they even took their underwear off.

有了贏家，當然也會有輸家，是誰輸了，那我就羅列一下吧。是美聯社、美國在線、時代華納、沃爾特、迪士尼、美國新聞集團，紐約時報、華盛頓郵報及谷歌、臉書、推特、這些大科技公司的社交媒體平台，至於像美國之音中文部，英國BBC中文部，這只能算是小跟班了，是他們輸了。他們輸得連底褲都扒下來了。

【新唐人北京時間2020年11月19日訊】第三屆促進宗教自由部長級會議，本週一在波蘭首都華沙開幕。週三，一個以「法輪大法在中國的迫害」為題的研討會，同時召開。

第三屆促進宗教信仰自由部長級會議在波蘭召開之際，綫上論壇「法輪大法在中國的迫害：過去和現在——21年對基本人權的踐踏」週三舉行。

論壇演講者包括在中國遭受迫害的法輪功學員、台灣駐德國代表謝志偉，以及瑞典國會議員阿爾姆 （Ann-Sofie Alm）。

演講的法輪功學員之一、作家曾錚，在論壇上回憶曾在中國大陸勞教所，遭受到的迫害。

法輪功學員 作家曾錚：「我們被強迫在烈日下一動不動的蹲在地上，超過15個小時。我遭受和我看到的酷刑恐怖至極。看守還會把女法輪功學員赤身扔進男監牢，任由她們被多次強姦。」

瑞典國會議員安‧索菲‧阿爾姆表示，中共迫害法輪功已經21年了，不能相信這樣的迫害還在發生。

瑞典國會議員 阿爾姆：「（這種迫害）怎麼能夠還繼續發生？這不僅是中國共產黨的恥辱，我認為整個自由世界都應為此蒙羞。」

與會的台灣駐德國代表謝志偉，則指出了法輪功在中國大陸和台灣所處境遇的巨大反差。

台灣駐德國代表 謝志偉：「在中國，法輪動學員被鎮壓，甚至被殺害；在台灣，法輪功被接受、被保護、被尊敬。在台灣，法輪功學員大概有30萬到60萬。」

在會後，曾鉦女士接受了採訪。

法輪功學員 作家曾錚：「這兩相對比我覺得是對中共謊言的一個最好的回擊。台灣呢，大家都是說著同樣一個語言，都是同一個民族，那麼這種對比更加鮮明。容易讓大家看清中共對法輪動的打壓是多麼的荒謬。」

曾錚女士指出，在當下讓更多人了解中共對法輪功的迫害，對全世界有更加重要的意義。

法輪功學員 作家曾錚：「之前呢，大家都覺得法輪功是中國的，跟我沒什麼關係，但是通過這次美國大選所暴露出來的種種弊端，那大家才更加深刻的認識到，西方的自由社會已經被共產主義邪靈滲透到什麼樣的程度了。」

本屆「促進宗教自由部長級會議」為期三天，與會者們分別以如何改善全球各地的宗教自由狀況進行線上討論。在週一開幕式當天，美國國務卿蓬佩奧再次譴責中共對法輪功、基督教等信仰團體的迫害。
